Data Policy

Bangali Business separates authoritative transaction data, derived reporting data, temporary exports and backups. Tenant records are scoped to the active business. Financial and inventory history should be corrected through controlled reversal/adjustment workflows instead of silent destructive edits.

Business Exports

Business Owners can receive tenant-safe exports of their own authorized data. A business export is not the same as a raw platform database backup.

Backups

Platform backups can contain multiple tenants and are restricted to authorized platform recovery operations. They are protected, monitored and subject to retention policy.

Closure

Business closure should follow an explicit offboarding, export, staff revocation and retention workflow. Subscription expiry alone must not silently erase records.
